"Internships Abroad" Project, FERS program
Co-financing from the project "International educational mobility of students, graduates and vocational education staff" under the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 (FERS) programme co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.
tasks, activities
- 20 short-term learning mobilities of VET learners.
Target groups
Participants in the project will be students from the Technical School studying for the following professions: IT technician, programming technician, construction technician, hotel management technician, food and catering technician, and students from the Vocational School of the First Degree in the profession of automotive mechanic. Participants will be 17-18 years old, and the Technical School students will be in their third and fourth year. The internships abroad will be a form of mandatory internship. Students from the Vocational School of the First Degree will be in their second year of study.
Project objectives
- Promoting and disseminating European values in the local environment by intensifying international cooperation
- Preparing students to function on the national and European labor market
- Building the image of the Douzelage Association as an organization that undertakes effective international cooperation
- The project is aimed at improving the professional skills of students participating in the project and familiarizing them with the requirements of the European labor market.
effects, results of the project
Twenty short-term mobility experiences will be implemented in companies in Romania, Malta, and Hungary. Participants will expand and acquire new practical skills in the hotel and catering industries, construction, IT, and automotive mechanics. Interns will develop interpersonal skills, increase their stress tolerance, assertiveness, and improve their teamwork skills.
