From July 27 to August 1, 2009, young people from Chojna schools (three from Primary School No. 1 and one from Chojna Junior High School) and their supervisors took part in a project coordinated by the partner town of Douzelage – Bad Kötzting. Workshops on global warming issues were held in the Bavarian Forest National Park. Delegations from the following countries participated in the project: Bad Kötzting / Deutschland, Chojna / Poland, Houffalize / Belgien, Preveza / Griechenland, Sherborne / Großbritannien, Sušice  / Tschechien, Türi / Estland.
