The Douzelage Association in Chojna, in collaboration with the Secondary School Complex No. 1 in Chojna, the Association of Twin Cities in Koszeg (Hungary), and the City of Siret (Romania), implemented the "Your Job, Your Future" project as part of the new EU Erasmus+ program. The project partners met from August 14th to August 21st, 2014. The project aimed to prepare thirty-six young people to take active steps in the labor market. Participants created posters and multimedia presentations about the twin cities, unemployment, and job search methods, interviewed young entrepreneurs, discussed the position of young people in the labor market, and attended a meeting with an HR (Human Resources) specialist. As part of the project, the youth visited a marketplace in Osinów Dolny, where they gathered information about employment opportunities. Participation in the project allowed participants to expand their knowledge of partner cities, job search methods, unemployment, establish new contacts and improve their English language skills.
