„Women in society” w ramach programuErasmus+
The Douzelage Association in Chojna, the Upper Secondary School Complex in Chojna (Poland), the Association of Partner Cities in Köszeg (Hungary), and the city of Konya (Turkey) have completed the Erasmus+ project "Women in Society." The project originated among young people concerned about the situation of women in their local communities, their relatively low civic engagement, and the challenges they face. The project focused on issues related to the role of women at the local level in Chojna, Konya, and Köszeg, as well as at the national level in Poland, Turkey, and Hungary. The project aimed to encourage discussion about the changing role of women in the contemporary world, motivate girls and young women to take a more active part in local community life, combat false stereotypes about the level of professional activity of women, promote successful women in the local community, and showcase and promote examples of positive solutions to the problems addressed by the project.
Project partners participated in activities exploring cultural differences, workshops, interviews, and discussions about the role of women in society. During the implementation of planned activities, young people learned from each other and acquired new knowledge and skills. A summary of the undertaken activities was conducted, meetings were held with Chojna authorities and local successful women, and a photography exhibition entitled "Successful Women" was opened. A project newsletter, multimedia presentations, and a video of the partners' meeting were prepared.
